LOOK: 5-star EDGE Keon Keeley visiting Notre Dame
Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star EDGE Keon Keeley has been committed to Notre Dame since June, but he has still received plenty of interest from other major programs.
Since his last visit to South Bend in October, he has taken visits to Ohio State, Florida, and Alabama. And each of those schools has been working hard to flip him. Keeley returned to Notre Dame on Saturday for an unofficial visit, where he got to watch the Fighting Irish’s spring practice.
According to BlueandGold.com’s Mike Singer, this visit will be key for Notre Dame, and they’ll hopefully convince him to stick to his commitment and not take other visits.
“Another trip to Alabama could be in the works. But otherwise, we haven’t heard buzz of Keeley having any other trips scheduled for the spring or summer,” Singer wrote. “This is a great opportunity for Notre Dame to get the 6-5, 240-pounder locked back in with his Irish pledge — and potentially convince him not to take other trips.”
