Former Notre Dame defensive lineman Ethan Johnson reported missing in Washington
Former Notre Dame defensive lineman Ethan Johnson has been reported missing in Washington, according to ABC-affiliate KATU 2.
“Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing and endangered 32-year-old man. Ethan Andrew Johnson was last seen Saturday, Oct. 8 near 5585 Evergreen Blvd., unit 5305,” wrote ABC KATU 2.

Additionally, authorities are asking not to approach Johnson if he’s seen, but to instead call them so they could get to the scene.
Coming out of high school as a member of the Class of 2008 from Portland, Oregon, Johnson was one of the most sought-after prospects in the nation. Before committing to Notre Dame, Johnson was ranked as the No. 1 recruit in all of Oregon, and the No. 5 defensive lineman and No. 43 overall prospect nationwide, per the On3 Consensus.
During four seasons with the Fighting Irish, Johnson amassed 89 total tackles and 12.5 sacks.
Moreover, the Notre Dame community is helping to do their part in finding Johnson, as the Holtz’s Heroes Foundation shared a Tweet regarding the situation on Tuesday.

After his playing career came to an end at Notre Dame, Johnson spent a summer with the Kansas City Chiefs following being unselected during the NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he never caught on, and his time in the NFL was short-lived.
