Four-Star EDGE Loghan Thomas commits to Notre Dame
Four-star EDGE Loghan Thomas of Katy (TX) Paetow High announced his commitment to Notre Dame Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 210 pounder chose the Fighting Irish over Oklahoma, Arizona, and Texas Tech.
Thomas on why he chose Notre Dame
“The thing that stood out to me the most was the life after football aspect,” Thomas said. “Knowing I’m going to get a great education and meet great people while also playing at a high level of football means a lot.”
Loghan Thomas’ relationship with coach Al Washington played a role in his decision.
“They plan on using me at the boundary side end,” Thomas said. “I’m the closest with coach Washington. We talk like 3 times a week and most of the time it’s not even about football. It’s really just checking in and seeing how everything is going.”
Message to Notre Dame fans
“I can’t wait to get up there and help make a difference on and off the field!”
