Four-Star RB Justin Thurman commits to Notre Dame
Class of 2025 running back Justin Thurman of Tampa (FL) Jesuit High announced his commitment to Notre Dame Tuesday afternoon.
The 6-foot, 180 pounder chose the Fighting Irish over Tennessee, Kansas, and others.
Thurman on why he chose Notre Dame
“The culture, the academics, the people, and the program all appeal to me. Everything at Notre Dame fits the “The Golden Standard”, that’s why I have decided to commit!”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“I have a relationship with all of the coaching staff, but my closest relationship is with Coach McCullough. As a versatile athlete, they plan to use my speed and overall skill set in multiple areas on offense and special teams.”
The Sunshine State running back joins coach Marcus Freeman and the Fighting Irish’s top 25 class in the 2025 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star tight end Nate Roberts, and three-star defensive lineman Davion Dixon.
