Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell is spending his Saturday on a visit to Notre Dame. Reddell tweeted out a photo from the visit Saturday morning.

The visit to South Bend is the first for Reddell. So far this year Reddell has visited Missouri (Jan. 16), Oklahoma (Jan. 28), Alabama (March 4), Georgia (March 18) and Nebraska (March 24.)

“I have been talking with coach Parker for a while,” Reddell recently told On3. “I am ready to spend time with him, get a better connection with him. “It will be great to speak with coach Marcus Freeman, learn about the program, see them practice and just see build on the my connecitons with the staff.

“I know about their history at tight end and how they have developed and produced guys, so I want to see how I would fit it and be used if I went there.”

Reddell is the No. 58 overall prospect and No. 3 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Missouri.

On3 rates Reddell higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Reddell is the No. 31 overall prospect in the country, the No. 1 tight end and the No. 2 player in Missouri.

The 6-foot-4, 224-pounder holds several Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Missouri as the heavy favorite to land a commitment from Reddell at 23.4%.

Jaden Reddell currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $109K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Notre Dame’s 2024 class so far

Notre Dame’s gotten off to a fast start with its 2024 recruiting class with eight commitments already. Five of those commitments are four-star recruits including Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South wide receiver Cam Williams and Saline (Mich.) quarterback CJ Carr.

The Fighting Irish currently have the No. 5 class in the country after finishing the 2023 cycle with the No. 9 class in the country.

Carr’s commitment to Notre Dame is something that stands out to Reddell as the two are fairly close.

“As a tight end, I want to play with a great quarterback,” Reddell said. “CJ and I are really close, he is a great quarterback and he has told me how Notre Dame would be a great fit for me. I have asked him questions about Notre Dame and it will be great to see everything at Notre Dame this weekend.”
