Williams part of top-10 Notre Dame class
The 5-foot-9.5, 200-pound running back committed to the Fighting Irish last December.
“As many recruits would say, you know when you know,” Williams told On3. “It was one of those moments with Notre Dame for me, for sure. Just after the camp, working with (running backs) coach (Deland) McCullough. The three times I came back, the vibe always felt the same. It stuck with me that it wasn’t a one-time thing. I came back and it was consistent. The feeling was consistent. The people were consistent.”
The attitude Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman brings to the program in South Bend was a major selling point for Williams.

“Coach Freeman has that cool smile, but he is mean,” Williams said in April. “He was in the NFL as a middle linebacker, so don’t let that smile fool you. He is a head coach that we can have a fun and serious relationship with.
“Coach Freeman is different and every player means the world to him. At practice, he that smile covers up his intensity and passion for the game. He is going to be great to play for.”

Williams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $95,000. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
