Notre Dame DL Jayson Ademilola declares for 2023 NFL Draft
Notre Dame star Jayson Ademilola has made his decision regarding the 2023 NFL Draft. He announced via Twitter he will declare for the draft Wednesday.
Ademilola had a chance to declare for the draft last year, but opted to come back for one more go-round alongside his brother, Justin. Now, he’s turning pro.
“My college football days have come to a close, and now it is time to pursue my dream to play at the next level,” Ademilola wrote in a message to Notre Dame fans. “I am officially declaring for the NFL Draft. I look forward to representing my family and the Fighting Irish with love and honor!”
Ademilola had another impressive year for Notre Dame, totaling 29 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks to help the Fighting Irish to a 9-4 record in Marcus Freeman’s first season at the helm. He arrived in South Bend as a four-star recruit and the No. 108 overall recruit from the 2018 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
