South Carolina kicker transfer Mitch Jeter commits to Notre Dame

South Carolina kicker Mitch Jeter has committed to Notre Dame. He announced his decision on Thursday via social media.

The Gamecocks kicker has been a solid presence for two years, a steady field goal kicker with some range.

Jeter was a perfect 11-for-11 as a junior in 2022, then went 12-of-14 as a senior in 2023 to bring his career total to an impressive 23-for-25 (92.0%). He has a long of 53 yards.

In addition to his field goal duties, Jeter managed to go 77-of-80 on extra-point attempts.

His commitment will give the Fighting Irish a solid leg to rely on going forward into the 2024 season.
