2026 5-star DL Jahkeem Stewart visiting Ohio State this week
New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine five-star 2026 defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart is making visits across the country this summer as he considers whether he’ll reclassify into 2025.
Heading into the summer, Stewart’s recruitment is starting to come into focus. He’s coming off a multi-day visit and camp session at LSU. And Auburn, Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and USC are all in the mix as well.
The Buckeyes will be next to host the trench monster, bringing him to Columbus Wednesday and Thursday to camp and visit the program, according to On3’s Chad Simmons.
Stewart visited for the Buckeyes’ spring game in April before heading out to Los Angeles to see USC. The Trojans have made a major impression in him, particularly new defensive line coach Eric Henderson. He’s scheduled to visit the Trojans this month as well.
“This was his third time at USC, so that will be his fourth time in June. If he reclassifies he’ll also take an official visit, so that’s five times,” On3’s Steve Wiltfong said in April. “Talking to some people who spent time with Jahkeem out there, they feel really good about USC’s chances as well. The vision they have for him as a player, coach Henderson and his presence there, Skyler Jones is another defensive line coach at USC that they’re very excited about — so it was a great visit.”

Jahkeem Stewart Scouting Summary
On3’s Scouting and Rankings Team writes this about the 6-foot-5, 270-pound Stewart, ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking:
“Physically-gifted defensive lineman with a high-end combination of twitch and technical ability at an early stage. Has a naturally big frame, measuring in at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds prior to his sophomore season. Has plus length for the position with arms that measure over 34 inches along with 10.75-inch hands. Put his name on the national radar with a number of impressive camp performances as a high school underclassman. Missed his freshman season due to a transfer. Has looked dominant in the camp setting. Flashes advanced technique despite his lack of varsity experience. Uses quick hands to easily disengage. Has a nasty straight arm that he uses to walk offensive linemen back to the quarterback. More of a straight line athlete who is at his best moving forward. Will need to improve his lateral agility as he has some stiffness when moving side to side. Will also need to transfer his skills on to Friday nights as he gets varsity experience.”
