Curry chose the Buckeyes over more than two dozen others offers, including Alabama, Indiana, Clemson, Oregon, Texas and more. He is the 19th commit in the 2022 cycle for the Buckeyes, joining five-star linebacker C.J. Hicks and four-stars Terrance Brooks, Gabe Powers and Caleb Burton, among others.
Caden Curry Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting Charles Power wrote the following about Curry as a prospect:
Active, high effort defensive lineman who stars for the top high school program in Indiana. Lines up at both defensive tackle and defensive end. Makes plays behind the line of scrimmage at a high rate due to first-step quickness and a relentless motor. Plays hard on a snap-to-snap basis. Totaled over 20 tackles for loss in each of his last three years of high school football. Plays with strong technique and quick hands. Does not appear to be overly long.
Curry is the No. 165 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the No. 15 defensive lineman in the cycle and the No. 3 player in the state of Indiana.
