4-star WR Jayvan Boggs decommits from Ohio State
Cocoa (Fla.) four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs has decommitted from Ohio State, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Boggs originally committed to Ohio State on October 9. He is the nation’s No. 212 overall prospect, No. 26 wide receiver and No. 32 recruit from Florida in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Miami, Florida and UCF have remained involved in Boggs’ recruitment, he told CaneSport earlier this month.
“Schools are still pursuing me to the fullest because they’re telling me they still want me at their school,” Boggs told CaneSport. “Signing day’s a long way away, so they’re telling me they’re going to keep showing me (love) and keep pursuing me to the end.”

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power had this to say about Boggs’ performance at UA Next Miami:
“Jayvan Boggs just missed making the top ten. While he’s not overly flashy, the Cocoa (Fla.) High standout is a highly reliable target in the short and intermediate areas of the field. He showed some of the best hands on the day.”
