Cade Stover shares excitement for FS InVISION, Ag-Pro NIL deals that help family farm

Cade Stover hasn’t hid his passion for farming when talking about his NIL ventures. In February, he came to an agreement with FS InVISION to provide seed corn to his family’s farm in Mansfield, Ohio and recently landed a deal with John Deere equipment provider Ag-Pro.
FS InVISION is the seed corn Stover’s family uses as part of the deal, and he said the Ag-Pro partnership is especially important to provide equipment. After all, he spends quite a bit of time away from home since Ohio State is in the thick of a Big Ten East race.
So while he’s grateful for what NIL has done for him, he said it’s more important for his family and their farm — especially considering it’s harvest season.
“It helps our farm definitely more than it just benefits me, personally, but it’s all in one in my mind,” Stover told Andy Staples on Andy Staples On3. “I’m honestly looking more towards helping the farm than, financially, helping me at this point just because I know down the road, that’s what I’m going to want to do and hopefully, I can continue those relationships down there. But having FS InVISION supply us with that seed and us basically promote them and see how well that seed does for us is crazy.
“And then, Ag-Pro on top of that to help us with equipment and stuff — because we’re not huge farmers yet. We came from basically lower-end equipment. So sending us out brand new stuff that we’re using, it’s insane. It helps my dad out tremendously, especially when I can’t be there every day during the week in the season.”
Cade Stover has been active in the NIL space, but he’d ‘rather be paid in tractors’
Cade Stover has done well for himself in the NIL space. He most recently signed an NIL deal with Snickers after securing one with Wrangler just before the season. With 56,000 social media followers, he has an On3 NIL Valuation of $591,000. That puts him at No. 85 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.
The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

At Big Ten Media Days, Stover didn’t talk about how much he’s making in his NIL deals. However, he had an appropriate quote about how his passion for farming shows in his ventures.
“Money-wise? I don’t know,” Stover said, via On3’s Pete Nakos. “I’d rather be paid in tractors, to be honest with you.”
Stover, a senior, has been a key piece of the Ohio State offense once again this year. Through seven games, he ranks second on the Buckeyes with 359 receiving yards, only behind wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
His performance will be especially critical this week when Ohio State welcomes Penn State to The Horseshoe for a game with Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff implications. Big Noon Kickoff and College GameDay will be in attendance for the game, which starts at noon ET on FOX.
