Coveted Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland is set to make his college decision in just a few days. As the country awaits his decision, some committed prospects are doing what they can to recruit one of the nation’s top prospects.

Deontae Armstrong, a four-star Ohio State offensive tackle commitment out of Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward tweeted “NFL > NIL” with a smiley face Thursday afternoon.

Armstrong and his twin brother Devontae Armstrong are both recent Ohio State commitments.

Noland narrowed his list of top schools down to seven on March 25 and set a commitment date of April 8 at 8:45pm ET. Ohio State was one of the schools to make Noland’s seven alongside Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M.

“It speaks for itself,” Noland told On3 regarding why he included Ohio State in his top 7. “They get Heisman Trophy finalists almost every year. From a quarterback standpoint, they treat their quarterbacks like he’s in the NFL and they develop him like he’s in the NFL.

“I think the quarterback room at Ohio State has top tier competition. The guys there are really dialed in to Ohio State football and they love getting coached and developed.”

Noland visited Ohio State on March 31 and a day later he announced that he had picked up an offer from the Buckeyes.

“Sources have told me Ohio State wants him to be their guy,” Matt Parker of Lettermen Row said. “From what I heard, the visit this past weekend went very well.”

Following an expert prediction from On3’s Josh Newberg, Ohio State became the overwhelming favorite to land Noland’s commitment according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine as the Buckeyes sit at 84.2%.
