Expert prediction logged for top-100 EDGE Zion Grady

On3’s Steve Wiltfong has logged an expert prediction for Ohio State to land Troy (Ala.) Enterprise four-star EDGE Zion Grady.
A onetime Alabama commit who decommitted after the retirement of Nick Saban, Grady took his official visit to Ohio State over the weekend.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Grady is the nation’s No. 79 overall prospect, No. 11 EDGE and No. 6 recruit from Alabama in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He previously visited Ohio State in early May — his first trip to campus.
“This was a great visit,” Grady told On3 last month. “Having a personal visit with the staff to understand the program and vision for me [was great], but I think just being able to experience the town and seeing how much they care about Buckeye football as well. Coach Johnson and Coach [LaAllan] Clark really impressed me with their presentation and knowledge. They really have high expectations for me and a plan to help me achieve that.”

Perhaps the biggest thing out of that visit was getting the opportunity to talk with former Buckeyes Chase Young and Mike Hall.
“Just playing for Coach Johnson was the best decision they ever made,” he said of their conversations. “He pushes for you to be a great player but a better man. They all talked about how he impacted their lives, and their game evolved when they decided to trust his process.”
