Five-star wide receiver Mylan Graham of New Haven (IN) High announced his commitment to Ohio State Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-1, 180 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Tennessee, Alabama, and Purdue.

Graham on why he chose Ohio State

“I just feel like they are the program I can trust the most with where I’m trying to get to (NFL 1st round), which Coach Hartline I kinda felt like it was a no brainer with the track record and development ever since he’s got to Ohio state. They run an amazing offensive system that gets the players the ball and opportunity to show what they can do. Everytime I get there on campus I already feel like I’m home.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Graham

“I’m closest with Coach Hartline,” Graham said. “We’ve had a very strong relationship ever since he was my 1st offer last summer. They plan on using me as an outside receiver to get the ball to.”

What it means to join Ohio State’s loaded WR Room

“It means alot, I’ll be surrounded by the best and be in a room where I’m forced to compete which won’t do anything but make me better. The track record for Hartline’ first round receivers speaks for itself, I mean the standard at Ohio State for receivers is 1st round.”

Mylan Graham Scouting Summary

“The definition of a technician at the wide receiver position. Has the ability to separate from defenders in a phone booth off the snap. Capable of winning off the line of scrimmage without being touched. Explosive and twitchy when coming off the line and out of his breaks. Loose hips who can sink at the top of his routes with ease. Rarely touched when has the ball in his hands in open space, extremely tough to bring down in the open field.”

“Comfortable catching the football away from his frame, natural ball tracker downfield. Has the ability to high point and win 50-50 balls. Terrific in the return game as well. Leaner athletic build for the wide receiver position, will struggle to sniff 200 pounds at the next level. Has quality speed on film but needs to confirm top-end speed in order to determine true ceiling. Has all the positional traits to become a special receiver. One of the most technically sound prospects at the position to come out in the last few recruiting cycles. Projects as a Z-type or X-receiver at the next level and beyond.”

Graham ranks as the No. 12 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No.4 wide receiver and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $266K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
