Former Ohio State senior defensive back Marcus Williamson has been in a frenzy on Twitter since announcing his retirement. On Saturday during the Rose Bowl, he took aim at fans, insulting their football IQs and even went after his former head coach Urban Myer in a firestorm of tweets.

In the tweets, Williamson recalled an incident that took place in his freshman year in 2017.

“My first team meeting,” he wrote. “(True story 2017) This photo was presented to us via PowerPoint to institute our building-wide rule of ‘no hoods’ in the building.”

“After said meeting— the freshmen and myself go to sign the hours of paperwork essentially signing our rights as Americans over to osu and the governing bodies”

In that same thread of tweets, Williamson came up with an idea on how to further his message and offer guidance to incoming freshman players.

“I wanna rap bout my career as a young black college athlete at the highest level. As guidance for u go-getters coming up.”

He ended the post with a shoutout to Westerville and the children chasing their dreams.

He was from finished

As he continued the thread Williamson explained other instances where he felt he was treated in an unjust way.

“Participate in your lecture/discussion in your 8 am class after a mat drill at 6 am (arrive a 5 if you’re a freshman). …PROFESSOR My hands are bleeding from the rope pull but you want me to grab my pencil?? “

“I was repeatedly pushed past my injuries as if I was completely expendable. (You are). 2018 I used to wake up, put my shoulder in place.. & go to practice. They bandage u up like shit sweet”

Williamson’s take on the fans and coaching

The former Buckeyes‘ defensive back did not hold back in ripping the Ohio State fan base and coaches. “Now that I’m a fan, I gotta say….u fans know nothing and have some of the WORST football IQ ever,” he wrote on Twitter.

He then had a warning for future recruits at Ohio State. “RECRUITS: watch out for a lotta these coaches. this can be a shitty business w shitty individuals. Use wisdom and discernment when visiting schools,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

He didn’t have good things to say about the Ohio State coaches either, “Almost as bad as some of these coaches,” he wrote on Twitter.

“I didn’t make the trip. Figured I’d enjoy my holiday watch sum good ball. Self care fellas,” he said.

The former Buckeye defensive back let fans know that he is officially retired from college football, “I retired y’all & no I didn’t quit at halftime like Vontae Davis,” he wrote on Twitter.

He began his live-tweeting spree by starting off and writing, “Praying 12 & 32 are okay. These injuries can be so detrimental to these athletes,” he wrote on Twitter.
