Brandon Noel commits to Ohio State out of transfer portal
Noel isn’t the only good news, in terms of roster additions, for the Buckeyes. Guard Bruce Thornton announced his return for his senior season.
This past season, Thornton was Ohio State’s scoring leader for the second consecutive season. He averaged a career-best 17.7 points, shooting 50.1% from the floor, and 42.4% from three. Additionally, he earned second-team all-Big Ten honors.
At the moment, Thornton is 21st all-time in scoring at Ohio State. He’s accumulated 1,487 points, and should be able to move up the list with another solid season as a Buckeye.
Time will tell what the future holds for Thornton professionally, but it’s evident he’s not ready to move on from Ohio State just yet. That’s music to the ears of Buckeyes fans, as they’ll be looking for a bounce-back season next year.
