Four-star quarterback Brock Glenn of Memphis (TN) Lausanne Collegiate School has announced his commitment to Ohio State Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 195 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Florida State, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn.

Glenn on why he chose Ohio State

“So this week I was in fall camp with my teammates, which is a week where we stay the entire week at Lausanne and have two a days, meetings, etc. the whole week,” Glenn said. “They take our phones once we get there, so not having a phone really allowed me to think deeply to myself, and ask myself what I truly wanted without any outside noise. The entire week I also watched film on the different teams and Ohio State’s offense just stood out to me. I love Coach Day and Coach Dennis’ ability to develop QBs at a high level. Each year they produce QBs into the NFL, which is my ultimate goal. They are also great people, and I feel extremely comfortable with them.”

Competition brings out the best in Brock Glenn

I love competition. I think it makes everyone way better. It makes the entire room rise and get better every day. No matter where you go, you’re going to have to compete, so I wasn’t really worried about that at all. I want to be able to control the things I can control and let God control the rest. I bet on myself when I went to Lausanne and I’m going to bet on myself again… always bet on yourself.

Brock Glenn Scouting Summary

“Pro-style signal caller who is advanced in his ability to scan the field and process the game,” On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power. “Has a well-put-together build that measures in at a shade under 6-foot-2, 195 pounds with just over a 10-inch hand. Ran an electronically-timed 4.78 40-yard dash and 4.25 shuttle as well as a 33.5-inch vertical on the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Has a pretty release and gets the ball up and out quickly. Can improve the natural zip on his ball, as it tends to die on deeper throws. Led Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate to the state semifinals while throwing for 1,576 yards, 23 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 97 completions for a 63% completion percentage during his junior season. One of the highest floors of all the quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle.”

Glenn ranks as the No. 375 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 20 quarterback and the No. 9 player in the state of Tennessee.
