Four-Star RB Jordan Lyle commits to Ohio State
Four-star running back Jordan Lyle of Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas announced his commitment to Ohio State Saturday evening.
The 6-foot, 195 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Miami, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, and others.
Lyle on why he chose Ohio State
“Really what led me to Ohio State was the genuine love and development of the players that I saw,” Lyle said. “The coaches are extremely great people that want the best out of you and I would love to be around people like that. When I went up there on a visit, the practice had so much energy and emotion. I would definitely want to see myself in that type of environment. Ohio State has always been a dream school of mine since Zeke (Elliot) played. I can’t wait to join the Buckeye Nation.”
Relationship with coaching staff stood out
“I’m close to coach Alford , coach Larkin, and coach Day. They want me as a 3 down back, and are planning to develop me into a monster.”
The Sunshine State running back joins coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes’ top 3 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star wide receivers Jeremiah Smith, Mylan Graham, four-star quarterback Air Noland, and others.
