Four-Star TE Max LeBlanc commits to Ohio State
Four-star tight end Max LeBlanc of Chattanooga (TN) Baylor School announced his commitment to Ohio State Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 225 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Michigan, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
Leblanc on why he chose Ohio State
“Ohio State has been a dream school since I started playing football,” LeBlanc said. “Also, I had a really good feeling when I visited, and loved the relationship and the energy the coaches had with the players.”
Relationship with coaching staff
“Coach Bailey is the one that I am closest with,” LeBlanc said. “I call him every week, and he is the one who offered me.”
The Tennessee tight end joins coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes’ Top 3 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by Jeremiah Smith, Air Noland, and others.

LeBlanc ranks as the No. 276 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 16 tight end and the No. 5 player in the state of Tennessee.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $48K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
