After reportedly making his decision Wednesday, Justice Sueing made it official. He’s running it back for Ohio State next season.

Sueing took to Twitter to make the announcement Thursday night, tweeting a graphic that said “I’m back” and captioning it with a message for Ohio State fans.

“Can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be,” Sueing said. “We have some unfinished business Buckeye Nation.”

Sueing only played in two games this season as he battled through injuries. It was his second season with the Buckeyes after starting his career at California, but it was drastically different than his first go-round in Columbus. As a junior in 2020-21, Sueing started all 31 games for Ohio State and averaged 10.7 points per game to go with 5.5 rebounds per contest. Now, he’ll work to get healthy for his fifth season of college basketball in 2022-23.

In his two years with the Golden Bears, Sueing averaged 14.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest. He arrived at Cal as a three-star recruit and the No. 14 recruit in California from the Class of 2017, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Ohio State star Malaki Branham declares for NBA Draft

Big Ten Freshman of the Year and potential lottery pick, Ohio State’s Malaki Branham, is entering the NBA Draft. According to NBA Draft expert and ESPN analyst Jonathan Givony, Branham will maintain his college eligibility while trying his hand at the draft.

“Branham is testing the waters for now, but says he will stay in the draft if he receives assurances he’ll be drafted in the first round. He’s currently the No. 16 prospect in the ESPN 100 draft rankings,” wrote Givony via Twitter.

The freshman also announced his decision with this letter.

Branham, a native of Columbus, finished his freshman campaign with 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and two assists per game. In the Buckeyes’ second-round loss to current Final-Four team Villanova, the freshman did all he could to keep them afloat. Branham scored a game-high 23 points on 10-19 shooting from the field. He also connected on three other Buckeyes seven made three-point shots.
