Kansas State point guard Ques Glover commits to transfer to Ohio State
Kansas State Wildcats point guard Ques Glover has apparently committed to transfer to the Ohio State Buckeyes on his Instagram.
Within his bio on Instagram, Glover has tagged Ohio State basketball, implying that he’s now a part of the team.
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Glover began his college career with the Florida Gators where he played two seasons. He later transferred to Samford where he played another two seasons before landing at Kansas State. Now, he’s hoping to help Ohio State rebound from a difficult season in 2023-24.
Last season with Kansas State, Ques Glover played in 19 games, earning 18 starts before an injury derailed his season. He had 24.5 minutes per game while averaging 14.7 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. On top of that, he averaged 0.7 steals per game on the defensive end. Those numbers were a step back from his final season at Samford but were still a step up from his career averages.
Following his 2022-23 season at Samford, the coaches voted him to the All-Southern Conference Second Team.

Ohio State is coming off a challenging season. The Buckeyes went 22-14 and just 9-11 in Big Ten play, missing the NCAA Tournament. On top of that, head coach Chris Holtmann was fired in the middle of the season, being replaced by Jake Diebler. After a strong showing, Diebler was named the full-time coach moving forward.
During the offseason, the Buckeyes have been an active team in the Transfer Portal. That’s not a surprise, given the coaching change. However, Ohio State has lost five players to the portal this cycle while adding another five. Along with Ques Glover, the Buckeyes have added point guard Meechie Johnson, power forward Sean Stewart, shooting guard Micah Parrish, and center Aaron Bradshaw. With that, in the 2024 transfer cycle, Ohio State has the 69th-ranked class in college basketball.
The hope at Ohio State is that Ques Glover is going to be able to provide the Buckeyes with depth following the loss of Taison Chatman. A promising young player, Chatman tore his ACL in June and is going to be forced to miss the season.
The Buckeyes are getting an experienced point guard to fill the gap. Glover has now played in 99 college games with 46 starts. That comes across time at three different programs in three different conferences. Now, he can add a fourth conference to that list.
