LOOK: 2024 4-star WR Jeremiah Smith wears Ohio State sticker on helmet
2024 Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is one of the top players in the 2024 cycle. He ranks as the No. 6 overall prospect and the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
During a 35-28 win over Washington (D.C.) St. John’s, Smith had a strong performance with three receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns. He also showcased his interest in one of the nation’s top college football programs by wearing an Ohio State sticker on his helmet.
Ohio State is considered a favorite for Smith
The 6-foot-3, 185 pound wideout has received more than 30 offers from schools including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Notre Dame. He is also taking an unofficial visit to Texas A&M in September alongside his teammate, five-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader.
Yet the Buckeyes have stood out in his recruitment. Smith most recently traveled to Columbus for an unofficial visit in April. He told On3’s Sam Spiegelman that he enjoyed spending time around Ohio State and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline.

“I got to watch practice, see how Coach Hartline runs the practice,” Smith told Spiegelman in June. “I put down to (watch) film with him, spoke to me about my family, how they’re doing, and how I was doing in spring football. It was great up there and that’s how it is. He doesn’t like to talk football; it’s more about family, how they’re doing, how I’m doing in other sports and school, and that’s one thing I look at it with coaches.”

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Smith has an On3 NIL Valuation of $150K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Jeremiah Smith On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Jeremiah Smith:
“Big, skilled receiver with fluidity and savvy for the position. Measured in at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds prior to his junior season. Had a breakout 2021 season, helping his Chaminade-Madonna team to a state championship. Turned in several strong performances, including a big state title game. Polished route-runner at this early stage. Smooth mover with some technical refinement that allows for separation. Shows good ball skills with his ability to track the football over his shoulder. Does not register as a top athlete in the combine setting at this stage. Can further take advantage of his size by continuing to improve his contested catch skills.”
