LOOK: 2024 No. 1 recruit Dylan Raiola visiting Ohio State
Chandler (Ariz.) High five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola is in Columbus, Ohio, for his second visit to Ohio State this month.
He seems to be spending a lot of time with Buckeyes quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis.
Raiola and Dennis were photographed heading to Ohio Stadium in a golf cart and then captured inside the stadium.
Raiola is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 prospect in the 2024 On300 ranking.
He told On3 Director of Scouting Chad Simmons that he was really excited to be back in Ohio for the spring game.
“I can’t wait to be around the best fans in the land, and the best band in the land Saturday,” Raiola told On3.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of 144k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Raiola is not the only elite 2024 quarterback visiting Ohio State this weekend. Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, the No. 12 overall recruit in the 2024 On3 Consensus, is also in town for the spring game. Davis visited Penn State on Friday.
Lettermen Row’s Jeremy Birmingham said having both quarterbacks on campus is one of the biggest storylines of the entire recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes.
“For months Jadyn Davis was viewed as the “most likely” rising-junior quarterback to kickstart the Buckeyes 2024 recruiting class but in recent weeks it’s been Dylan Raiola surging into that spot,” Birmingham said. “Both players have been on campus multiple times and this is a unique opportunity for Ryan Day and Corey Dennis to evaluate them both side-by-side. Neither of them can throw or work out, but who “fits” into the Ohio State program better can be parsed out on a weekend like this one. These are two supremely talented quarterbacks and the Buckeyes are in a great position to land them both.”
