The Ohio State band is at it again.

One of the nation’s best marching bands used a portion of Saturday’s halftime performance to troll their most-hated rival, Michigan.

The band spread out, and four clusters of people held four flags. Three of the flags had the block O, while one had the Michigan logo. Another formation of band members formed a person, reached up, “grabbed” the Michigan flag, and threw it into a trash can complete with Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.

Michigan suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday, losing 37-33 in East Lansing to undefeated Michigan State.

The Buckeyes are in a fight with Penn State. Ohio State leads 34-20 midway through the fourth quarter. C.J. Stroud is 20-for-32 with 268 yards and a touchdown.

Freshman phenom running back TreVeyon Henderson was bottled up early, but he has posted a decent stat line: 13 carries for 110 yards and a 68-yard run to set up a touchdown.

Kenneth Walker III stomps Michigan

Walker, a Wake Forest transfer, had 23 carries for 197 yards and five touchdowns for the Spartans against the Wolverines. He averaged 8.6 yards per carry.

Unsurprisingly, head coach Mel Tucker was pleased with the performance and even dropped the “H word” in his postgame press conference.

“He’s a special player, he’s a team player, and we all know he’s a Heisman type guy,” Tucker said after the win. “And credit to our O-line, our receivers blocking downfield, but we’ve got to give the guy credit where credit is due. He’s a Heisman guy.”

Walker now has 1,194 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. He is averaging 6.8 yards per carry.

Heading into Saturday, Walker trailed only Syracuse’s Sean Tucker in rushing yardage nationally. It is likely Walker will lead Power Five running backs in touchdowns by the conclusion of the Saturday slate.

The junior had the sixth-best Heisman odds (+1600) entering Saturday, per Vegas Insider. Michigan State has never had a Heisman Trophy winner.
