Infielder Henry Kaczmar entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. He spent two years with the program. Kaczmar was the second Ohio State player to enter the portal Tuesday after catcher Matthew Graveline. Kaczmar was also on the 2023 Big Ten All-Freshman team.

In 55 games this past season, he hit a .320 average, had seven home runs, 36 RBI and 72 hits. Overall, Kaczmar has a .307 batting average in two seasons, 14 home runs, 82 RBI and 133 hits.
Kaczmar joined teammate Matthew Graveline in the transfer portal Tuesday.
Graveline made the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2023 and was an Ohio State scholar athlete the same year. He started 49 of 50 games as a freshman.
That year, he hit a .287 batting average, four home runs, 35 RBI and had 56 hits. In 2024 to follow up, Graveline had a .281 average, five home runs, 25 RBI and 56 hits once again.
That’s now several departures from the program all in just one day. Sounds like next year’s team is going to look a little bit different.
