Report: Ohio State Buckeyes hire TCU assistant Bill Mosiello as new head baseball coach
Ohio State baseball has a new skipper, according to multiple reports on Wednesday. The Buckeyes are hiring TCU associate head coach Bill Mosiello after the program opted to move on from Greg Beals last month. Beals had led the baseball team for 12 seasons but failed to make the Big 10 Tournament this season.
Bill Mosiello has a lengthy resume with the latest bullet point being a 10-year stint with the TCU Horned Frogs. After joining the TCU staff in 2013, he assumed the role of associate head coach, as well as hitting/offensive coach and third base coach.
