Ohio State commit Deontae Armstrong trolls Michigan following Aaron Scott Jr. commitment
The rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State has been as hot as it ever has been and that rivalry added another chapter Sunday night. Springfield (Ohio) four-star cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. gave the Buckeyes a recruiting win over their hated rival when he announced his pledge to the Buckeyes over the Wolverines.
Scott made his decision by leaving a Michigan backpack as the lone backpack on the table. He picked it up and pulled an Ohio State jersey out cementing his commitment to the Buckeyes.
That move quickly circulated its way around Twitter and Instagram as Ohio State fans started using it to talk trash towards their rivals to the south.
Current Ohio State commitments quickly got in on the action tweeting at Michigan fans and players about the recruiting win. One of those recruits was another in-state commit in Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward four-star offensive tackle Deontae Armstrong.
Deontae and his twin brother Devontae each announced their commitment to the Buckeyes on March 27. Since then the two have been vocal recruiters for the Buckeyes and taken their fair share of shots at Michigan fans whenever Ohio State lands a pledge over Michigan.
