The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes currently sit at 9-0 overall and they’ve only got two more games until the game which is usually the game of the year in the Big Ten Conference–their showdown with their bitter rivals, the Michigan Wolverines. Ohio State handled a pesky Northwestern team last weekend in windy weather conditions. This weekend, they’ll return to Columbus to face the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday.

Check out the hype video the Buckeyes dropped on Thursday night to get everybody amped up for the Indiana game.

Ohio State hopes to be welcoming back the services of receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba at some point this season. He’s been battling injuries all season long and has only played in three games thus far.

The Buckeyes battled windy conditions against Northwestern, but still prevailed 21-7 in a game that was much closer than the score indicates. Ohio State was losing for much of the first half, 7-0, but finally tied it up thanks to a 15-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter by Emeka Egbuka (in the highlight video above). Then, the Buckeyes got two touchdowns in the second half from running back Miyan Williams to pull away.

The absence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba has allowed two other superstars to step up at wideout for the Buckeyes’ passing attack–Marvin Harrison, Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Both receivers have combined to haul in a combined 102 catches for 1,628 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. They are two of the nation’s best receivers and living up to the lofty standard that has been set for several years at Ohio State.

Ohio State running back Miyan Williams leads the team with 636 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. Not far behind him is TreVeyon Henderson, with 552 yards and six touchdowns.

Ohio State and Indiana will square off on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Columbus, Ohio. The game will be televised on FOX.
