Ohio State’s No. 1-ranked football recruiting class in 2025 is led by a trio of five-star commits: quarterback Tavien St. Clair and cornerbacks Na’eem Offord and Devin Sanchez.

The latter two are ranked as the nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 players at their position, respectively. And both are Five-Star Plus+ prospects, meaning they are rated as five-stars by each of the four major recruiting services: On3, 247, ESPN and Rivals. As of Monday, they’re also All-Americans.

Both Sanchez and Offord were named preseason first-team All-Americans by MaxPreps.com, joining a long list of ex-Buckeyes to garner such honors.

The nation’s top cornerback, Sanchez measured in at an impressive 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with 32-inch arms at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. He touts a strong size and speed combination, running 10.69 seconds in the 100 meters as a junior. Was a lockdown defender as a junior, making plays at a very high rate when targeted. Despite not seeing a heavy number of targets, he finished with 11 pass breakups and five interceptions.

Offord, meanwhile, was also a preseason All-American prior to the 2023 season, where he picked off five passes and scored 12 total touchdowns, scoring five different ways.

Alongside them on the list was 2026 commit and Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Chris Henry Jr.

Joining 2024 signee Jeremiah Smith, also a Five-Star Plus+ recruit, Henry is the second Buckeyes wide receiver commit in three years to earn the honor.
