4-star ATH Bo Jackson commits to Ohio State
Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph four-star athlete Bo Jackson has committed to Ohio State.
The 6-foot, 204-pounder was named after the Auburn legend and is one of the top tailbacks in the 2025 cycle. He’s now set to stay in-state and play for the Buckeyes — whom he chose over the likes of Penn State and Kentucky.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Jackson is the No. 73 overall prospect and No. 4 ATH in the 2025 cycle. He’s also the No. 5 player in Ohio.
Jackson made multiple visits to Columbus in 2023 — including trips in March, June and September. He then returned this March and logged his official visit on May 31. New Buckeyes RBs coach Carlos Locklyn, offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and head coach Ryan Day all did their part in landing the impressive burner.
“It’s always a good time meeting with Coach Day. Pretty much his whole message is that he wants me there and that they’re really interested in me. And Ohio State is home. My parents like him a lot. He calls me every once in a while so I have a really good relationship with Coach Day,” Jackson told Lettermen Row after his OV.
