Ohio State official visit in the works for QB Brock Glenn
Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate School quarterback Brock Glenn has been trending toward Auburn in recent weeks. And especially so after his official visit over the weekend.
But other schools have gotten involved in his recruitment since an impressive showing at the Elite 11 Regional in Nashville last month. Namely, Ohio State. The Buckeyes extended him an offer on Tuesday and are now in the process of setting up an official visit for later this month, Glenn told Cole Pinkston of AuburnLive.
Glenn is the No. 448 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He currently ranks as the nation’s No. 23 quarterback and the No. 14 player in the state of Tennessee.
He received a prediction to the Tigers from Spiegelman on Tuesday, but almost immediately after that reported an offer from Ohio State. Whether the Buckeyes can get him on campus for an official visit in the next few weeks will say a lot about where his recruitment ultimately stands.

The Buckeyes don’t currently have a quarterback committed in the 2023 class, but did sign On3’s No. 1 overall 2022 prospect, Devin Brown, and have a verbal pledge from 2024 No. 1 prospect Dylan Raiola.

OSU also recently extended an offer to four-star Baylor quarterback commit Austin Novosad, who camped in Columbus last weekend.
“There have been ongoing conversations between Ohio State and Brock Glenn, but now that there is an offer, it will be something to watch going forward,” On3’s Chad Simmons said on Tuesday. “When the Buckeyes extended an offer to Novosad, it looked like they might not get in the mix with Glenn. But this changes things and puts them in the mix with Auburn, Florida State and Virginia for the Memphis-area quarterback.”
Novosad currently has an official visit to Florida State scheduled for this weekend. And he plans to make a decision before the Elite 11 Finals beginning June 26.
