Ohio State trending up for 4-star offensive lineman Henry Fenuku
After landing four offensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting cycle, Ohio State is looking to again load up at the position in 2025.
The Buckeyes already have a commitment from Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer four-star tackle Carter Lowe and are becoming a bigger contender by the day it seems for Five-Star Plus+ offensive tackle David Sanders, the nation’s No. 2 overall recruit.
On the interior of the line, they’ve turned up the heat quite a bit recently on Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley On3 Industry four-star offensive lineman Henry Fenuku.
While Ole Miss is the slight favorite to land him in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), it’s the Buckeyes who he says are on top right now. And On3’s Steve Wiltfong has logged an expert pick to reflect that.
“Fresh off his visit to Ohio State this weekend, Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley On3 Industry four-star offensive lineman Henry Fenuku said that the Buckeyes are setting the bar in his recruitment,” Wiltfong wrote on Monday. “Talking to another source at the high school, they indicated the same. With that, I’ve logged an RPM in favor of the Buckeyes. OSU currently has On3’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class.”
Fenuku breaks down his visit
The trip made a major impression, Fenuku said in his interview with Wiltfong after. He already has a pair of official visits scheduled with other programs, but the Buckeyes look like a lock to get one as well.
“Ohio State just felt different,” Fenuku said. “The strive to win, but also how you’re going to get mentally tough for anything outside of football also.

… I don’t think there’s any comparison (when) it comes to OSU. It’s just different. You can feel the intensity of winning as soon as you walk into the facility.”
Ohio State is also looking to get an official visit from five-star Roswell (Ga.) offensive lineman Josh Petty and is in the mix with the likes of Jackson Lloyd, Micah DeBose, Mario Nash and a handful of others at the interior spots.
More on the Buckeyes’ 2025 class
In total, Ryan Day and Co. have 13 commitments already on the board, seven of whom rank among the top 100 nationally and 11 who check in as blue-chip (four- and five-star) recruits.
Early in the 2025 cycle, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and his staff have gotten busy. Of OSU’s 12 commitments, eight are on that side of the ball and four are in the secondary. Ohio State holds commitments from the nation’s top two cornerback recruits — Five-Star Plus+ CB Na’eem Offord and five-star corner Devin Sanchez. Their class also includes top-75 EDGE Zahir Mathis, top-70 cornerback Blake Woodby, four-star EDGE London Merritt, four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford, four-star cornerback DeShawn Stewart, in-state standout linebacker Eli Lee and fast-rising Cleveland-area safety Cody Haddad.
On the offensive side, OSU has already locked up its quarterback in the class with elite passer Tavien St. Clair, who ranks No. 5 nationally at the position in the On300. He’s joined by Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe, and four-star wide receiver De’zie Jones.
