The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking like a well-oiled machine early, much like much of the country expected them to look in the 2024 campaign. They’re amped up for their matchup this weekend for the Iowa Hawkeyes. And to get their fans even more fired up, the Buckeyes dropped a video on Wednesday evening, revealing that they’ll be wearing some all-gray uniforms against the Hawkeyes.

Check out this pretty sharp video dropped by Ohio State–one of the best marketing teams in college sports.

They are pretty sharp uniforms and it’s a really well-done video by Ohio State’s social media/marketing team. Ohio State is rolling along this season, and they are looking like they should be one of the top contenders for the national championship in this year’s version of the College Football Playoff.

Ohio State freshman wide receiver Jeremiah Smith has captivated the nation’s attention with his highlight-reel grabs. He’s must-see TV every time he sets foot on the football field. So far, Smith has hauled in 19 catches for 364 yards and five touchdowns. He had two touchdowns in his very first college football game (Akron) and scored one in the last three as well.

Smith and Emeka Egbuka form the top wide receiver tandem in all of college football. It’ll be exciting to watch them go up against Will Johnson of Michigan several weeks down the road. He’s the man that many have tabbed as the top corner prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Wolverines also have corner J’yaire Hill. According to Pro Football Focus, Hill and Johnson are the only cornerback duo in college football with 80+ coverage grades this season. It’s going to be a fascinating matchup, no doubt about it.
