Ohio State wide receiver Bryson Rodgers plans to withdraw from NCAA Transfer Portal
Ohio State wide receiver Bryson Rodgers has announced his intention to withdraw from the transfer portal and return to the Buckeyes for the 2024 season.
The true freshman didn’t see any action as part of the 2023 Buckeye offense, but will be looking for a bigger role next fall.
Rodgers played high school football at Wiregrass Ranch (FL) where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 358 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as the No. 55 WR in the class and a Top-75 player out of Florida.
He initially entered a couple weeks back, but posted the following tweet Saturday morning confirming that he won’t be leaving Columbus after all. You can read his message as part of the tweet or view it below:
Statement from Rodgers:
“good morning everyone. I appreciate all the coaches that blessed me with an opportunity to come to their program. This has been no where easy for me. Buckeye nation, with deep reconsideration and thought, I will be returning to The Ohio State University. RELOAD THAT MF CLIP.”
