Ohio State WR Kojo Antwi to enter NCAA transfer portal
Ohio State wide receiver Kojo Antwi is entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Over the course of three seasons at Ohio State, Antwi appeared in 11 games but logged just one catch, an eight yard reception this season.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Antwi was a four-star recruit out of Suwanee (Ga.) Lambert, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 19 overall prospect in the state, the No. 31 wide receiver in the class and the No. 191 overall prospect in the state.

Antwi is heading out there door as questions arise about the current state of Ohio State. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes lost to Michigan for the fourth straight year and now might have to run the table in the College Football Playoff to erase that bad moment.

“It’s hard to explain to people that don’t live in that rivalry, but it is that important,” ESPN’s Paul Finebaum said on First Take. “Ryan Day has said it, he talked about a recent death and said it was similar to a family member, it was similar to losing this game. So, I mean, I don’t think he has anywhere to go. He has zero goodwill in Columbus, Ohio right now, and a national championship will get a lot back. Short of that, I think he’s history.”
It stinks because Day sports a tremendous win-loss record. But the losses stick out.
“I believe he probably needs to get to the championship game, because he has literally lost all the goodwill that he has earned,” Finebaum said. “And I’m not going to sit here and say that he’s done a bad job. A 66-10 (record). He’s been to the championship game, he lost by 28, he’s been there other times when he lost to Georgia a couple years ago. But, to me, he’s paid ten million dollars year to win one game. That’s the Michigan game.
