Ohio State's Zed Key, Felix Okpara cleared to play vs. Indiana
Zed Key and Felix Okpara will play against Indiana Saturday afternoon, Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann said, via Jon Rothstein on Twitter.
Key has been dealing with a shoulder injury, but tweaked his knee after a dunk last week in the Iowa win. He averages 11.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, and is a huge piece to the Buckeyes’ efforts on both sides of the ball.
Okpara, a true freshman, has also recovered from his foot injury and will be ready to suit up when his number is called. He averaged 13 minutes per game and averages 3.4 points and 3.3 boards per outing, and is a key member of their bench. He’s the kind of player with a blank slate that could end up being a very important player for OSU in the coming seasons.
Tip-off between the Buckeyes and Hoosiers is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET inside Assembly Hall live on Fox. Indiana will be five-point favorites heading into the game.
Chris Holtmann not worried about off night from Brice Sensabaugh
Ohio State forward Brice Sensabaugh has emerged as one of the top players in the country but when he has a down game, head coach Chris Holtmann doesn’t let the recent result wash over the overall success.

Sensabaugh followed up a 27-point performance Saturday against Iowa with a down game against Illinois. He did score 14 points but he did it on an inefficient 5-for-13 shooting.
Holtman said after the game that a game-to-game dip like that doesn’t impact his thoughts on Sensabaugh.
“Brice has had an excellent year,” Holtmann said. “He’s had a really good freshman year. This is part of the growth process for him. He’s just got to get back to work. He’s hungry. I think this is part of the process. It’s unrealistic to expect the scoring output he had the other night to be consistent, I know you guys know that. I’m hopeful that he’ll learn from this and be better next time out.”
