On3 5-Star Countdown: No. 12, WR Mylan Graham
On3 has updated its recruiting ranking for the 2024 class after the completion of dozens of offseason camps, as well as events like the Elite 11 Finals and Overtime 7v7 Finals. New Haven (Ind.) five-star wide receiver Mylan Graham is the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2024 On300 and a new five-star prospect since On3’s previous rankings.
The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 15 five-star players, up from 11 in the previous update in April. Of those 15 prospects, seven are already committed to college programs, with five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman and defensive lineman Justin Scott the latest to come off the board to Texas A&M and Ohio State, respectively.
The 6-foot-0.5, 185-pound Graham committed to Ohio State in early April over Tennessee, Alabama and Purdue. Key to his choice of the Buckeyes is the NFL success at the receiver position under Ohio State assistant coach Brian Hartline.

“I just feel like they are the program I can trust the most with where I’m trying to get to (NFL 1st round), which Coach Hartline I kinda felt like it was a no-brainer with the track record and development ever since he’s got to Ohio State,” Graham told On3 in April. “They run an amazing offensive system that gets the players the ball and opportunity to show what they can do. Every time I get there on campus I already feel like I’m home.”
“I’m closest with Coach Hartline,” Graham told On3 about his relationships with the Buckeyes coaching staff. “We’ve had a very strong relationship ever since he was my first offer last summer. They plan on using me as an outside receiver to get the ball to.”
Mylan Graham Scouting Summary
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes this about him as a prospect:
“The definition of a technician at the wide receiver position. Has the ability to separate from defenders in a phone booth off the snap. Capable of winning off the line of scrimmage without being touched. Explosive and twitchy when coming off the line and out of his breaks. Loose hips who can sink at the top of his routes with ease. Rarely touched when has the ball in his hands in open space, extremely tough to bring down in the open field. Comfortable catching the football away from his frame, natural ball tracker downfield. Has the ability to high point and win 50-50 balls.
“…Terrific in the return game as well. Leaner athletic build for the wide receiver position, will struggle to sniff 200 pounds at the next level. Has quality speed on film but need to confirm top-end speed in order to determine true ceiling. Has all the positional traits to become a special receiver. One of the most technically sound prospects at the position to come out in the last few recruiting cycles. Projects as a Z-type or X-receiver at the next level and beyond.”
