Emeka Egbuka missed last week’s matchup against Penn State. Now, the Ohio State wideout’s status has been updated ahead of Saturday’s matchup vs. Wisconsin, courtesy of ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is questionable for the game at Wisconsin on Saturday,” Thamel reports. “He warmed up against Penn State last week and was considered available but ultimately didn’t get into the game with a lower-body injury.

Egbuka has 22 catches for 303 yards and three receiving touchdowns on the season. Last year, he was a 1,000-yard receiver for the Buckeyes’ prolific offense last year.

Even if Egbuka ultimately can’t go, superstar pass-catcher Marvin Harrison Jr. should be more than enough to provide production out wide for the Buckeyes.

Last weekend in Egbuka’s absence, Harrison Jr. was the difference-maker against the Nittany Lions. He went for a career-high 162 receiving yards and a touchdown during the contest, bringing his total to one scoring reception in each of the last three games. He’s also scored at least one touchdown in five of the last six games for Ohio State.

It’s unlikely the Badgers’ defense can slow Harrison Jr. down — and if Egbuka ultimately suits up — Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord will be set up nicely for a strong performance.

Factor in a healthy running game for the first time in several weeks with the return of star tailback TreVeyon Henderson. Fellow running back Miyan Williams has been in and out of the lineup as well but both are expected to be ready to go against Wisconsin. The two have combined for 453 yards and eight touchdowns on the season.

In his place, their cohort Chip Trayanum has been a steady set of legs out of the backfield. He leads the team with 60 carries and has 257 rushing yards and three touchdowns to show for it.

If one thing is for sure, the Buckeyes have no shortage of talent throughout their offense. That will need to be on full display, as heading into Saturday’s road matchup at 7-0 coming off a huge win against Penn State — Ohio State has everything to lose in this matchup.

The opening kickoff for Saturday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET live on NBC. According to Vegas Insider‘s line, the Buckeyes head into game day as a 14.5-point betting favorite over the Badgers in Madison. The over/under total is set at 45.5 points.
