Tim Tebow reveals what gives Ohio State the edge vs. Indiana
Undefeated Indiana will march into Ohio Stadium for a highly-anticipated Week 13 matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday.
No matter the outcome, the matchup’s fallout will be felt across the Big Ten and College Football Playoff races. For SEC Nation host Tim Tebow, the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback believes the edge goes to the Buckeyes heading into Week 13. He explained why, heading into the blockbuster conference matchup.
“It’s because of their front four,” Tebow said during SportsCenter on Saturday morning. “They can win the one-on-one matchup on the outside with Jack [Sawyer] and JT [Tuimoloau]. I think they’re very good. If you go back to last week with Michigan, Michigan got to the quarterback quite a few times and Kurtis Rourke, they didn’t bring him down every time, but they forced a fumble, and they were able to disrupt him quite a bit, especially in the second half.
“If you look at the back end for Ohio State, led by Caleb Downs, their ability to keep [the offense] in front of them, not give up the big play, force turnovers — especially in crucial situations. I lean toward giving the edge to Ohio State.”
This Ohio State defense has been one of the best in the country this season. While the Buckeyes are ranked in the back half of Big Ten teams in interceptions with just seven on the year, the salty defensive front is tied for second in forced fumbles with nine on the year. They also rank first in the conference in defensive touchdowns (3).

However, Indiana’s offense has been one of the more prolific in the Big Ten during its 10-game winning streak. Rourke has commanded that effort this season.
He missed a game this season due to injury but hasn’t missed a beat in the two games since returning, throwing for nearly 500 yards and six touchdowns compared to one interception over that span.
Regardless, the outcome of Saturday’s matchup will go a long way in answering many questions regarding the Big Ten Championship and CFP races. Kickoff from Columbus is set for Noon ET live on FOX.
