WATCH: 2024 Ohio State 5-star QB commit Dylan Raiola tosses first touchdown of junior season
2024 Chandler (Ariz.) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola began his junior season Friday night against San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic. The Ohio State commit quickly showcased why he is the No. 1 player in the 2024 On3 Consensus.
From the 15-yard-line, Raiola backpedaled to escape pressure and lofted a throw to the front-left corner of the end zone. Tight end Kaden Anderson was there to reel it in, giving Chandler a 7-0 lead.
In addition to being the top-ranked player in the On3 Consensus, Raiola is also the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 On300. The 6-foot-3, 225 pound signal-caller is playing his first season in Arizona after moving from Texas.

Raiola committed to the Buckeyes on May 9. He is currently the only member of their 2024 recruiting class.
Raiola has an On3 NIL Valuation of $265K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Dylan Raiola On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Dylan Raiola:
“Advanced arm talent with the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws as a high school underclassman. Looks like the top quarterback prospect and overall arm talent in the 2024 cycle early on. Physically developed at around 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. Has a natural, loose throwing motion with unique arm dexterity to deliver off-platform and from multiple arm slots. Already has a deep catalog of throws as a rising junior in high school. Easily drives the ball to all levels of the field. Played both under center and in the shotgun as a sophomore.
“Ahead of the curve as a ball-handler and in the quick passing game. Shows good footwork and awareness in the pocket. Capable of creative plays in the face of pressure. Primarily a pass-first quarterback as a sophomore, not running for many yards. Turned in one of the more productive sophomore seasons among top 2024 quarterbacks. The son of 14-year NFL center Dominic Raiola. Also a standout baseball player as a pitcher and catcher.”
