Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has already established himself as one of the top wideouts in all of college football. Now, he is showing off his creative side off the field. Smith-Njigba partnered with Ricart Automotive, where he assisted in the design of a Ford F-150.

Rick Ricart tweeted the video of Smith-Njigba, and the talented wideout was able to drive away with the newly designed truck thanks to his NIL agreement.

Smith-Njigba currently holds an On3 NIL Valuation of $367,000. He ranks 25th in the On3 NIL 100, and 15th across college football. Across his social media, Smith-Njigba has around 132,000 total followers. Smith-Njigba’s NIL Valuation has grown nearly $10,000 over the last five weeks.

As a true freshman in 2020, Smith-Njigba played a minimal role for Ohio State. That year, he caught 10 passes for 49 yards and one touchdown. In 2021, though, he enjoyed a serious breakout season alongside Ohio State’s star-studded receiving room. On the year, Smith-Njigba caught 95 passes for 1,606 yards and nine touchdowns.

Smith-Njigba is in line for a major role next year on Ohio State’s offense

This season, Smith-Njigba put up ridiculous numbers while playing alongside Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. Both Wilson and Olave are in the 2022 NFL Draft, meaning that Smith-Njigba is left to carry the load on the Buckeyes next season.

If the Rose Bowl was any indication, Ohio State will be just fine with Smith-Njigba leading the receiving room. In the win over Utah, he caught 15 passes for 347 yards and three touchdowns. His connection with quarterback CJ Stroud is something that intrigues Ryan Day entering next season.

Smith-Njigba’s strong performance for Ohio State in the Rose Bowl is one of the top performances in the game’s history, Day said.

“I also thought C.J. and he just have a great connection,” Day added. “They have a great feel, and I think there’s a lot of trust there that’s been built over the year. I think it happened a little bit in that Nebraska game. Who knows? You have to ask them. Maybe it happened last year, I don’t know. But they read each other really well, and they’ve got a special connection.”
