WATCH: Ohio State WR commit Jeremiah McClellan scores on catch-and-run
It was broken tackles galore for Saint Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan on Friday night.
The Ohio State commit opened up early tonight with an insane catch-and-run that spanned both sides of the field en route to a 54-yard touchdown.
McClellan took the short pass on the left side before spinning out of a tackle attempt from three defenders. McClellan then weaved his way through the defense to the right side of the field, blowing past the defense before reaching the end zone.
McClellan is the nation’s No. 92 overall prospect and No. 17 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Missouri.
McClellan could join long list of elite Buckeyes WRs
He committed to Ohio State two weeks ago and is one of three top-100 receivers pledged to the Buckeyes.

“Ohio State has a great culture,” McClellan told On3. “I know guys that went there, some former players from Christian Brothers went there, and they loved it. Hart (Brian Hartline) will do his thing receiver-wise, but I am confident that Ohio State will get me right off the field too. They are known for getting their guys ready for the outside world. They really care about the players with what they do on and off the field, it checked the boxes for me.”
McClellan went on to talk more about Buckeyes receivers coach Brian Hartline, with whom he developed a comfortable relationship.
“My parents trust Hart and what I am going into at Ohio State,” McClellan added. “They feel good about my decision, I feel good about it and I know I am going where I am wanted. Ohio State has the people, the tradition and the culture I want to be part of. It is 100% WRU and I am very proud to be a Buckeye.”
