4-star Alec Blair, two-sport athlete, commits to Oklahoma for basketball and baseball

Four-star Alec Blair, a two-sport athlete, has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners for both basketball and baseball in the class of 2025.

The 6-foot-6 small forward and center fielder is a top-100 hoops recruit and also a pro baseball prospect.

Blair attends De La Salle High School in Concord, California. In addition to OU, Blair also received offers from Texas A&M, Cal, Clemson, Oregon, USC, and others.

According to the On3 Industry Rankings, he is the No. 89 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle for basketball. He’s also the No. 20 small forward prospect and the No. 8 player in California. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Blair becomes the first 2025 prospect to commit to head coach Porter Moser. The Sooners have been on a recruiting hot streak recently, landing Jeremiah Fears (No. 55 overall in 2024), and Glenn Taylor from St. John’s out of the portal, adding to their transfer class.
