A day after announcing that he had flipped his commitment from Notre Dame to Oregon, Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen has changed his decision again signing with Oklahoma.

Bowen made waves on National Signing Day by picking up an Oregon hat over a Notre Dame hat. He stated that decision came down to those two schools and didn’t include an Oklahoma hat on the table.

Instead of immediately signing with the Ducks though, Bowen remained unsigned for the remainder of the day.

The 6-foot-0, 185-pounder is the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 2 safety and the No. 3 senior recruit in Texas.

Bowen has an On3 NIL Valuation of $263K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
