Former Arkansas wide receiver Isaiah Sategna has committed to transfer to Oklahoma, he tells On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Spending three seasons in Fayetteville, Sategna caught 37 passes totaling 491 yards and a touchdown for the Razorbacks during the 2024 season. He was also used on special teams.

He will have two years of eligibility remaining to play for Brent Venables and the Sooners. He spent three seasons with Arkansas overall but caught two passes for 12 yards in two appearances as a true freshman. He used his redshirt that season to preserve his eligibility.

Sategna was the second-leading receiver on the Razorbacks offense in 2024, behind the 1,000-yard season of Andrew Armstrong.

Western Carolina transfer OL Derek Simmons commits to Oklahoma

Former Western Carolina offensive lineman Derek Simmons has committed to Oklahoma out of the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on Thursday. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

A class of 2020 recruit, Simmons began his career at Tusculum University before stops at Abilene Christian and then Western Carolina. The Florida native chose the Sooners over a number of Power 4 opportunities.

“Let’s Ride!!!!” Simmons said, along with some red and white emojis, on his post, before adding “Boomer Sooner” for good measure.

Simmons was unrated as a prospect in the 2020 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

On3’s Andrew Graham contributed to this report.
