Baker Mayfield has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons recently with his NFL future suddenly hanging in limbo, but the former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback and former Heisman Trophy winner finally received some good news to switch it up.

The Oklahoma football program previously announced the unveiling of a new statue that will be unveiled at the Sooners’ Heisman Park immediately east of the stadium that will feature the Sooners’ legend. The NFL quarterback — who is still under contract with the Cleveland Browns but has made it clear he wants to play for a new team — took to social media to react to the news.
