Class of 2024 IOL Eugene Brooks commits to Oklahoma
Class of 2024 interior offensive lineman Eugene Brooks of Chatsworth (CA) Sierra Canyon High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Tuesday morning.
The 6-foot-4, 325 pounder chose the Sooners over Texas.
Brooks on why he chose Oklahoma
“The way coach Bedenbaugh coaches and his background of putting offensive linemen and developing them to play in the league. Also, just the love they showed throughout my recruiting journey. It was an everyday talk and that showed and gave me that feeling it was home and to become a Sooner!”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“Coach Bill, DeMarco Murray, and the head coach. They plan on using me as an interior offensive lineman.”
Brooks ranks as the No. 713 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 54 interior offensive lineman and the No. 53 player in the state of California.
