Class of 2024 LB Michael Boganowski commits to Oklahoma

Class of 2024 linebacker Michael Boganowski of Junction City (KS) Sr. High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-2, 205 pounder chose the Sooners over Florida State and Kansas State.
“My first visit I ever took to Oklahoma, me and coach Coach V sat down and talked about his time coaching at other schools. He told me that Oklahoma will get back to winning games and this season they’ve done that. So playing for a guy like Coach V, who’s going to win games, is something that really stuck out to me.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.
“My relationship with the staff is great,” Boganowski said. “Coach Hall, coach Bates, and JP hit me up and see how I’m doing. Defensively, they plan on using me in lots of different ways like covering tight ends, blitzing at times, and playing inside the box in some formations.”
