Class of 2024 RB Xavier Robinson commits to Oklahoma

Class of 2024 running back Xavier Robinson of Midwest City (OK) Carl Albert High announced his commitment to Oklahoma Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-2, 220 pounder chose the Sooners over Iowa State.

The Sooner State running back joins coach Brent Venables and the Sooners’ top 20 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Zion Kearney, four-star safety Jaydan Hardy, four-star linebacker James Nesta, and others.

In total, Robinson visited Norman 4 times, including his official visit on June 12th. He also visited Iowa State on June 9th, as well as Oklahoma State on the 22nd of June.

He was primarily recruited by running back coach Demarco Murray, who formerly played for Oklahoma and the Dallas Cowboys. 

Robinson ranks as the No. 677 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 53 running back and the No. 6 player in the state of Oklahoma.

He currently does not have an On3 NIL Valuation publicly listed. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
